Ways to Be Your Own Life Coach by By Victoria Moran

Though we often seek advice from others, many spiritual traditions teach that the answer lies within. In this series, Victoria Moran, inspirational speaker, spiritual life coach , and author, offers us the top 10 questions she asks her coaching clients. By asking them of yourself, they can help you gain clarity in almost any situation. Just pick a challenge you're dealing with, and apply one or more of the following questions. Then, be willing to act on what your inner wisdom reveals.
Become your own life coach. Happy Reading.

10 Ways to be Your Own Life Coach and make solid unregrettable decision.

1.  Is it Good For Me?

This question needs to underlie every personal decision--from how to respond to a job offer or what to chose from a menu. So many of our choices are either snap decisions or belabored: We ask a friend (and another and another), make a pros and cons list, throw the "I Ching."

While such processes have a place, you can simplify things by asking yourself if this is genuinely good for you--physically, mentally, and spiritually, today and next week and in 10 years. Because your inner being looks after your true interests--not just your ego cravings--you'll get the guidance you're looking for.

2. What does my Body Have to Say About This?

Our culture has long mistrusted the body. It's been seen as a confusing blend of God's handiwork and the devil's playground. It is, rather, a vortex of intelligence.

Every cell comes equipped with awareness. Your body has something in the neighborhood of 40 trillion cells--quite a consulting committee. Call on it when you're confused or undecided. Relax quietly and ask your body what it has to say. Then note any sensations. Around your heart, are you picking up excitement that says "Yes!" even if there's also a little anxiety about doing something new? Or in your belly, are you feeling dread, a "gut reaction" telling you to take another path?

3. What are my values

This is an important question to ask yourself periodically--on your birthday perhaps, or at the New Year. It's both liberating and motivating to be so well acquainted with your values that you could recite them on demand.

My husband was working with this question and announced, "My values spell ditch: discretion, integrity, tolerance, civility, humility." He was so pleased with his discovery that he had a bracelet made with his values engraved on it. You may want to do something similar, but as long as your values are engraved on your psyche and acted on in your life, that's enough.

Putting First Things First in 2010

Once again a New Year has rolled in. The old is gone!! Nature and the universe presents us with limitless opportunities for a new start. But as with every New Year we have personal goals, resolutions and commitments key. But how many of us have followed through to the end of the year?

Lasting success requires "staying the course" no matter what. As we start this New Year together here are some tidbits that have helped me stay focused throughout the year.

1. Put first things first and always keep the main thing -- the main thing. Organizing and putting first things first is the rule of the game. Plan Plan Plan!! Write down your workable goals and stick to it.

2. Learn to live a life of equilibrium and balance.  Don't overdo. Keep it simple and doableTap into empowerment by first looking deep within you and harnessing that which is naturally given-- your determination and commitment. You will be amazed at how much resources you have within. Limitless!!

3. Practice self reflection often - If you were to pause ands think seriously about the first things in your life-- the three or four things that matters most- what would they be? Are these things receiving the care, emphasis and time you really want to give them. Give them the priority they deserve in your life.
4. Exercise and do due diligence with your body. It is the car that takes you pleases. If it is not treated with utmost care and diligence you know what happen? It breaks down. Invest time with your body.

5. Dream big!! The power and passion of vision is compelling. Without a vision you cast off restraint. Keep your eyes on the picture.

6. Simply live and make use of this year of limitless possibilities your source has given to you. Happy 2010!!

Sucess Triggers Part 5 - Secrets for Personal Success

Today we will be talking about seven secrets for personal success. But before I get to this I want to stress that there is always something magnetic and powerful about a successful person. Don’t you agree? People are drawn to a consistent success story. We gain momentum and are watered internally by hanging out with those who are successful and who have value to add to us.

On the other hand, I have also discovered that unwise friendships and associations have destroyed the potential and abilities of multiplied thousands of could be successful people. Do you allow your dreams to be eroded, your goals limited because of relationships with those who laugh at your pursuit of accomplishment? Remember whoever cannot increase you will eventually decrease you. The ability to disconnect from unqualified persons who abuse and misuse your life is an invaluable asset in the road to success. Reevaluate your life and friendships as you start this journey into success and productivity

Here are seven powerful secrets of success I personally subscribe to and wish to share with you from one of my favorite authors Dr. Mike Murdock.

Seven secrets for personal success – Mike Murdock

1. Define the specific goal you want to achieve. Concentrate on one priority at a time.

2. Chart as course with established deadlines. Write a detailed list of activities and set check points. Organize your time.

3. Constantly visualize yourself attaining that goal. Talk and think in “success pictures”. Be fully persuade that what happens in your mind will happen in time. Its just a matter of time.

4. Be informed. Secure pertinent information concerning your goal. Wise men lay up knowledge. Observe, read and maintain an information file. Utilize the expertise of others . He that walketh with wise men will be wise.

5. Create a climate of confidence in every circumstance. Speak your expectations of success not your experiences of failures.

6. Help others become successful. Assist other in discovering their gifts, talents and dreams. You will reap what you sow. The motto of the way of the winner is “what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.

7. Value the God connection. Recognize God/ the invisible being as a plus factor. He is never a disadvantage to you. He is always an asset and he wants you to success

And remember life changes only when your daily priorities changes.
